Good to know

  • Recycled cashmere, with a little certified wool: nothing synthetic around your head.
  • The rib stretches to go over your head, then settles snugly over your forehead and ears.
  • Warm ears without flattening your hair the way a beanie would.

Material & feel

Recycled cashmere means cashmere fibres that are recovered and then respun: you keep the softness and warmth of the fibre without producing new fibre. On your forehead it feels soft, without the scratchiness of a thick wool. The ribbed knit doubles the thickness where it covers, and it keeps you warm without feeling heavy.

When to wear it?

From the first cold mornings of October through to March, on your commute or out walking. When a beanie would be too warm: brisk walks, cycling, a trip to the mountains in dry weather.

Care guide

Cold hand wash only. Can be machine washed (wool programme), gentle spin (300-400 rpm). Never tumble dry. Dry flat. Iron at a warm temperature (150°C) with a damp pressing cloth.
