The Mohair collection

// The material

An Italian yarn: soft, warm, and not fragile.

Our Top50 yarn is spun in Italy by Filpucci, a specialist in fine materials and fine knits.

It blends 50% RMS mohair, 20% RWS wool and 30% recycled polyamide. The mohair and wool give it its warmth, its volume and that wonderfully airy feel.

And the recycled polyamide? We know it isn't ideal. But today, it's the best compromise we've found to strengthen the knit and help it keep its shape and its beauty over time. A choice we stand by, and explain further down.

The result: a fluffy, lofty and very light knit that keeps you warm without weighing you down. A softness you'll want to come back to, winter after winter. Mohair can, however, slightly tickle the most sensitive skin.

Our choices, fibre by fibre

Every fibre in the blend has a role.

Kid mohair
RMS · Responsible Mohair Standard
Loft, softness and warmth, without the weight.
Wool
RWS · Responsible Wool Standard
Structure: it gives the knit body so it doesn't stretch out.
Recycled polyamide
GRS · Global Recycled Standard
A small share that strengthens the yarn and helps it stand up to time, and to washing, rather than a jumper that wears out in a season.

// The story

The story of our mohair collection.

We wanted to make the jumper you pull on without thinking, the one you keep for its softness as much as for its beauty. Warm, light, lofty, with that little extra character that makes it a piece apart.

For this second year, we've improved our knit even further. Thicker so it's less see-through, warmer, and holding its shape beautifully.

We also tried to replace the recycled polyamide with a plant-based fibre. But none of the alternatives we tested offered the same durability. So we chose to make a garment you love for a long time, and keep for a long time.

// Care

Keep it soft for longer.

  1. 01
    By hand, or on a cold wool cycle No spinning. A mild soap is all it needs.
  2. 02
    Dry flat Never hang it: a wet knit stretches under its own weight.
  3. 03
    A few fibres at first For the first few days, mohair sheds a little fluff. It settles down after a few wears.
