The brand
NWHR
NWHR (Nowhere) is a Galician streetwear brand born from a radical desire to break away from the opacity of fast fashion. Designed for those who demand as much ethics as style, the brand offers unisex pieces with carefully crafted graphics, made exclusively from GOTS-certified organic cotton in family-run workshops in Portugal. By betting on total transparency, short-circuit production and rock-solid durability, NWHR turns clothing into a tool for change, proving that urban fashion can be desirable, local and deeply respectful of both people and the environment.

NWHR (Nowhere): streetwear with nothing to hide
The brand's story It all started with a harsh wake-up call. After working behind the scenes of fast fashion in Asia, its founder, Yago, decided to break away from an opaque, dehumanised system. In 2021, he launched NWHR (for "Nowhere") in Galicia, with a clear mission: to prove that stylish streetwear can go hand in hand with absolute respect for people and the planet.
NWHR's commitments
- Total transparency: for NWHR, transparency isn't an option, it's the foundation. The brand details every step of its value chain and embraces continuous improvement ("100% sustainable fashion doesn't exist, but we can get closer to it every day").
- Local, certified production: to limit its carbon footprint, NWHR concentrates its production in northern Portugal, less than 250 km from its offices. Its workshops are GOTS-certified, guaranteeing decent working conditions and eco-friendly management of water and energy.
- Natural materials: the brand uses only organic cotton, which uses less water than conventional cotton and contains no toxic pesticides. Every piece is designed to last, with an artistic approach that turns clothing into a lasting work of art.
- Committed style: blending modern fits and graphic prints, NWHR speaks to those who reject prejudice and superficial differences, celebrating each person's uniqueness through unisex, timeless fashion.
