Good to know

  • Close to the body, it slips under other layers without creasing or adding bulk.
  • Unapologetically sheer: the mesh hints at what you wear underneath, and the stripes add texture to the whole look.
  • The mesh is made from recycled polyester rather than virgin polyester.

Fabric & feel

Mesh is a fine, open-work knit: light on the skin, almost weightless, and properly sheer. The trade-off: 5% elastane. That's what lets the top follow your shoulders and arms without pulling, then spring back into shape. So it suits more body shapes.

When to wear it?

From autumn to spring, as a base layer: it's thin, so it adds no bulk under a jumper. In warmer weather, for an evening out or a gig, when you fancy playing with sheerness.

Care guide

Machine wash at 30°C inside out, delicates cycle, do not tumble dry. Make sure the spin is set to 800 rpm maximum. Iron on low heat (110°C). Try a GuppyFriend Bag to protect synthetic fibres and reduce the amount of microfibres released into the washing water.
