Good to know
- A collar that fastens right to the top with its two buttons: your neck stays warm when the wind picks up.
- Two large pockets with buttoned flaps: keys and phone stay put, even when you're walking fast.
- A dense, soft wide-wale corduroy: it has texture and presence without overdoing it.
Material & feel
Corduroy is a cotton woven with raised ribs that feel velvety to the touch. Here the ribs are wide: the jacket holds its shape and keeps in warmth better than a smooth canvas. In organic cotton, it develops a patina as you wear it.
When to wear it?
From September to November, then March to May, as a mid-season jacket. For morning commutes with the collar up, and weekends when it's chilly but not cold.
Fit & size
Cropped, it doesn't bunch up when you sit or cycle. Room in the shoulders and sleeves to slip a chunky knit underneath.
Runs slightly large. If you're often between two sizes, take the smaller one.
