Good to know
- A dense fabric that keeps its line on its own: the leg falls straight and doesn't cling.
- The reverse side of a sateen worn on the outside: slub yarns that give the fabric texture and character.
- Double-needle flat-felled seams, made to last, on GOTS-certified organic cotton.
Fabric & feel
A rigid yarn-dyed denim, woven with thick, irregular weft yarns: you can feel the grain of the fabric under your hand. A little firm the first few times you wear it, the sign of a real cotton fabric, which then moulds to your body. The gentle wash brings out the texture and seams over time.
When to wear it?
From October to April, when light trousers let the cold through to your legs: this thick fabric blocks the wind. On cool evenings in May and September too. In the height of summer, linen is the better choice.
Fit & size
The wide leg leaves room at the thighs: you can walk in big strides and sit down without the stiff fabric pulling. The mid-rise waist stays in place when you bend down.
