Good to know

  • A beanie knitted only from recycled merino wool, with no new or synthetic fibres added.
  • It comes down low enough to really cover your ears, where the cold bites first.
  • Its length keeps it in place: no spending the day pulling it back down.

Material & feel

Merino wool is a fine fibre that keeps you warm without adding bulk on your head. Rib-knitted, it stretches to hug the shape of your head, then springs back. Recycled, it keeps the qualities of wool: warmth, softness and breathability, even when you go from the cold outside to the heating indoors.

When to wear it?

From November to March, as soon as the temperature drops below 10 °C. On journeys on foot or by bike, windy mornings and long winter walks.

We recommend you take your usual size.

Care guide

Hand wash up to 30 degrees. Machine washable (wool programme), gentle spin (300-400 rpm). Never tumble dry. Dry flat. Iron at a warm temperature (150°C) with a damp pressing cloth.

Our pieces are made in Portugal, in three workshops we chose one by one and visit regularly. The charter asks the brands we stock to tell us the names of their workshops; ours, we already know.

Not a supplier's catalogue: organic cotton, linen, Tencel and upcycled materials, chosen piece by piece to last.

The whole collection, not 75% of it

The charter requires the brands we stock to make 75% of their collection eco-friendly. On our own pieces, nothing is left out.

We look for brands whose approach actually holds up, not the ones with the best marketing.

We ask for workshop names, compositions and labels, along with the proof to back them up.

Without proof, a brand doesn't make it into our catalogue. It's the one rule that's non-negotiable.
