Good to know

  • A high leg that stays put: the elastane helps the rib spring back into place throughout the day.
  • Organic cotton for most of the sock, where it touches your skin.
  • Made in Portugal, with recycled rather than virgin polyamide.

Material & feel

Organic cotton makes up four fifths of the knit: you keep the feel of cotton on your feet. Recycled polyamide is added so it stands up better to rubbing inside your shoe. The trade-off: 3% elastane. Without it, the rib would end up slipping down to your ankle; with it, it springs back and fits more calves.

When to wear it?

Every day, from the morning commute to the weekend. Being high, they cover your leg when you sit down and your trousers ride up.

The whole collection, not 75% of it

The charter requires the brands we stock to make 75% of their collection eco-friendly. On our own pieces, nothing is left out.

We look for brands whose approach actually holds up, not the ones with the best marketing.

We ask for workshop names, compositions and labels, along with the proof to back them up.

We validate

Without proof, a brand doesn't make it into our catalogue. It's the one rule that's non-negotiable.

  • When they manufacture in high-risk countries, we ask for additional guarantees and labels.

  • 100% of the clothes we select are made from at least 90% organic, vegan, recycled or natural materials.
  • All brands give us proof, with labels and certifications: GOTS, OCS, Oeko-Tex, Bluesign…
