Good to know
- The insole is removable: you can slip in your own instead, orthopaedic ones included.
- Calf leather as the main lining: your foot is surrounded by leather, outside and in.
- Speed hooks borrowed from trekking boots: lace up fast and tighten in one move during the day.
Material & feel
The upper is a grained cowhide leather, firm the first few times you wear it, which then moulds to the shape of your foot. The grain keeps its texture and comes back to life with a touch of black wax. The leather is Leather Working Group certified.
When to wear it?
From October to March, for walking on wet pavements or slippery leaves: the lugged sole grips. Understated enough for the office, sturdy enough for weekends in town.
Fit & size
The pull loop at the back helps you slip them on without crushing the heel.
