Good to know

  • The structure of real jeans: a firm fabric that keeps its volume and doesn't sag.
  • Room at the thighs and knees, where rigid jeans usually feel tight.

Material & feel

Raw denim is fabric that hasn't been washed: a deep midnight blue and a firm feel. A little stiff for the first few days: that's the price of real jeans. It then moulds to your body, and the wear marks appear where you move, at the hips and behind the knees.

When to wear them?

From autumn to spring, when the dense fabric blocks the cool wind. In summer, on cool mornings rather than heatwave afternoons. On bike commutes and days spent walking around town.

Fit & size

The volume in the legs lets you sit, crouch or pedal without the fabric pulling. Cropped at the ankle, they don't drag on the ground or catch near the bike chain.
