Good to know
- A suede coated with PFC-free water-repellent oils: a light shower on the way doesn't mean you have to change shoes.
- An outsole that's half Amazonian rubber, for a grippy sole.
- A soft, supple suede from the very first steps, with no stiff breaking-in period.
Material & feel
Suede is the underside of leather, sanded to make it soft and supple: it develops a patina over time. Tanned in Brazil without hazardous or banned chemicals. The compromise: recycled polyester in the lining, EVA in the insole and a little synthetic rubber underfoot. EVA, a lightweight foam, cushions every step, and the smooth lining helps your foot slide in.
When to wear them?
From autumn to spring, for getting around town and weekends on foot. Drizzle is no problem, but it's best to keep them dry on days of heavy downpours.
