Good to know

  • Fully recycled merino wool: all the warmth of merino, with no new wool.
  • It keeps you really warm, without the bulk of a chunky winter jumper.
  • It covers your lower back, even when you bend over or raise your arms.

Material & feel

Merino is a very fine-fibred wool: the knit is soft and much less scratchy than classic wool. It holds in your body heat while letting moisture through, so you stay warm without feeling stuffy. The recycled fibres give a supple knit that feels slightly fluffy to the touch.

When to wear it?

From October to March, on its own in cool weather, as a mid-layer under a coat when it's freezing. Ideal for a long autumn walk or a cold morning on the train platform.

The straight fit leaves room through the chest and arms: you move freely and it slips under a coat without pulling at the shoulders.

Care guide

Hand wash up to 30 degrees. Machine washable (wool programme), gentle spin (300-400 rpm). Never tumble dry. Dry flat. Iron at a warm temperature (150°C) with a damp pressing cloth.

Our pieces are made in Portugal, in three workshops we chose one by one and visit regularly. The charter asks the brands we stock to tell us the names of their workshops; ours, we already know.

Not a supplier's catalogue: organic cotton, linen, Tencel and upcycled materials, chosen piece by piece to last.

The whole collection, not 75% of it

The charter requires the brands we stock to make 75% of their collection eco-friendly. On our own pieces, nothing is left out.

We look for brands whose approach actually holds up, not the ones with the best marketing.

We ask for workshop names, compositions and labels, along with the proof to back them up.

Without proof, a brand doesn't make it into our catalogue. It's the one rule that's non-negotiable.
