Good to know
- Your bare foot rests on chrome-free tanned leather, over a foam layer that cushions every step.
- Leather wherever it touches your skin: cowhide upper, goatskin lining, also chrome-free tanned.
- Leather from Leather Working Group certified tanneries, for a pair you'll keep for several summers.
Material & feel
The cowhide straps soften wear after wear and end up moulding to the shape of your foot. The thinner goatskin lining stays soft against your skin. The trade-off: an outsole in synthetic rubber rather than leather. It grips the ground and isn't bothered by a wet pavement.
When to wear them?
From May to September, as soon as your feet need some air. In town for long days of walking, on holiday, and even at the office when the dress code relaxes in summer.
Fit & size
The back strap adjusts notch by notch: your heel stays in place and the sandal doesn't slap as you walk. The small heel means you're not walking completely flat.
