What is the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label for?

This certification, valid for 5 years and renewable, aims to preserve and showcase traditional French craft skills. The label is intended for companies involved in production, repair, processing or restoration that require rare skills and techniques.

It recognises a company's high technical expertise and innovation, creativity and the cultural significance of its activities.

Through the Institut National des Métiers d'Art (INMA) association, the French State promotes these skills locally, nationally and internationally to ensure their reputation and continuity.

What are the benefits of the EPV label?

A company holding this certification benefits from a favourable tax framework, helping it secure its business and hire more people. Training new generations in ancestral techniques lies at the heart of Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant.

How do you obtain Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant certification?

Once an application has been put together and the required criteria checked, the label is awarded by the Ministry of the Economy and Finance. The label is therefore free for eligible companies, to help them develop their business as well as possible.
