Good to know

  • A bucket hat dyed once sewn: the colour takes everywhere, seams included.
  • Washed and dried after dyeing, for extra softness and less shrinkage in the wash.
  • A soft brim you can turn down or fold to slip into a bag.

Material & feel

A sturdy organic cotton canvas that copes with being rolled up at the bottom of a bag or forgotten on the beach. Washing after dyeing softens it: no new stiffness, it feels supple from the first wear. The brim moves with your head instead of staying rigid.

When to wear it?

From spring to the end of summer, whenever the sun is beating down: walks, markets, festivals, the seaside. On uncertain days, it waits folded in your bag.

Fit & size

The brim goes all the way round your head and shades your forehead and the back of your neck without blocking your view.
