Good to know

Material & feel

Vegetable tanning uses tannins taken from bark and plants, where the industry often uses chromium salts. The leather is firm for the first few days, then softens and follows the curve of your waist. Over time, it develops a patina all of its own: the more you wear it, the more it becomes yours.

When to wear it?

All year round, every day: it's a belt that gets better the more you wear it. It handles a day sitting down just as well as a long walk.

Care guide

It's important to look after your leather so it lasts. Brush it regularly to remove everyday dirt.
If you have smooth leather shoes, you can polish the leather with a polish the same colour as the original leather or with a clear polish, then buff with a cloth.
For suede or nubuck shoes, you need to waterproof them to protect them from stains and moisture. Clean them with a soft brush and repeat the process at regular intervals.
