Good to know

Material & feel

Suede is the velvety side of leather: soft to the touch, matt and warm. On the back, smooth, dense full-grain leather provides the strength. Vegetable tanning, based on plant extracts, lets the leather darken gently and keep the mark of the way you wear it.

When to wear it?

At the office and on your days off, wherever the belt is on show as much as it holds things up. Matt, velvety suede really comes into its own from autumn to spring.

Fit & size

40 mm wide along its length, it narrows to 24 mm at the buckle end: it fits through narrower belt loops and stays neat when fastened.

Care guide

It's important to look after your leather so it lasts. Brush it regularly to remove everyday dirt.
If you have smooth leather shoes, you can polish the leather with a polish the same colour as the original leather or with a clear polish, then buff with a cloth.
For suede or nubuck shoes, you need to waterproof them to protect them from stains and moisture. Clean them with a soft brush and repeat the process at regular intervals.
