Good to know

Upcycled satin: the fabric was reclaimed and turned into a scrunchie rather than sitting in a stockroom.
A fairly tight elastic: two twists are enough to hold a ponytail or a bun.
Hand-assembled in a Roubaix workshop, in small batches.

Material & feel

Satin is a weave that's smooth and shiny on one side: the scrunchie slips through your fingers and catches the light. The trade-off: 100 % polyester. That's what gives the satin its slippery surface and pearly sheen, in a pastel apricot shade that stays subtle in your hair.

When to wear it?

All year round, on dry hair: at the office, around town, for an evening when you want an updo that holds. On your wrist between wears, it's an accessory in its own right.
