Good to know
- Made for thick hair: at 5 cm tall, it wraps around a big bun without disappearing into it.
- A firm elastic: two twists are enough and your ponytail stays put.
- Upcycled velvet, put back into circulation rather than newly produced, then hand-sewn in Roubaix.
Fabric & feel
Devoré velvet is velvet with the pile removed in places: the pink flowers appear as a light sheer layer on the black background. The viscose gives a velvet that is soft to the touch, with a subtle sheen. The trade-off: 18% polyamide. It forms the fine base left under the patterns and gives the fabric the strength it needs to be gathered around the elastic.
When to wear it?
From autumn to the end of winter, when velvet really comes into its own. At the office or for an evening out, on dry hair, for a bun that holds all day.
