Good to know

  • Underfoot, chrome-free tanned leather: it's what touches your skin all day.
  • A pair made in France, in a factory that signs every sole.
  • Pronounced lugs and a 3 cm heel: you walk on wet cobbles without slipping, with a little extra height.

Material & feel

Suede split is the flesh side of the leather, worked to keep a soft, matt nap. To the touch, it's supple and warm, far from the stiffness of smooth leather. Suede develops a patina over time: a quick brush lifts the nap and brings depth back to the black. The organic cotton laces complete a pair with no synthetics on the upper.

When to wear it?

From October to April, for walking around town and days at the office. Once waterproofed, it stands up to damp autumn pavements.

Fit & size

The derby's open lacing adjusts to your instep: tighten or loosen it depending on how thick your socks are.

Care guide

Dust off your shoes, apply a cleaner made for suede leather, leave for a few minutes then brush again. Waterproof your pair with a dedicated product.
