Good to know

Material & feel

Vegetable tanning means the leather is treated with tannins taken from plants rather than with mineral salts. The strap is stiff at first: a sign of thick, full leather. It then softens, taking the shape of your waist. Over time, the caramel shade darkens and marks the places where the belt works, like around the buckle.

When to wear it?

Every day, all year round: at the office, on your commute, at the weekend. The more you wear it, the more character it gets.

Care guide

It's important to look after your leather so it lasts. Brush it regularly to remove everyday dirt.
If you have smooth leather shoes, you can polish the leather with a polish the same colour as the original leather or with a clear polish, then buff with a cloth.
For suede or nubuck shoes, you need to waterproof them to protect them from stains and moisture. Clean them with a soft brush and repeat the process at regular intervals.
