Underprotection, ethical underwear brand for women
Underprotection is a responsible Danish lingerie brand founded in 2010 in Denmark. Respect for the body and for nature is at the heart of its concerns. The materials are natural or recycled and the brand only works with certified factories.
Underprotection underwear's environmental commitments
For its collections, the lingerie brand Underprotection uses natural materials such as GOTS-certified organic cotton and Tencel. It also uses recycled materials such as polyester and wool, and holds the GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certification. This certification also guarantees that social and environmental criteria are met (water treatment, use of chemicals, employee health and safety).
Most pieces are OEKO-TEX100 certified, guaranteeing they are free from toxic substances. All pieces (except those in recycled wool) are vegan and carry the PETA label.
Underprotection's ethical commitments
Underprotection received the Young Designer licence from the FWF for its work with the Fashion Forte factory in India. This licence guarantees compliance with ILO standards and human rights.
