Good to know
- The insole is removable: slip your orthopaedic insoles in instead, without buying a size up.
- The look of a leather trainer, without the leather: the upper blends plant-based resin and grape, and even the glues are water-based.
- A lining made mostly of bamboo, comfortable against your foot whether barefoot or in socks.
Material & feel
The upper has a smooth, clean finish, close to leather, that wipes clean with a damp cloth. The grape comes from winemaking pomace: what was left after the wine ends up on your feet. Underneath, a thick natural and recycled rubber sole that keeps you well insulated from the pavement.
When to wear them?
All year round, every day: city commutes, the office, weekends. In very wet weather, best to let them dry out completely between wears.
