Good to know
- A pair assembled in France, with shoemaking know-how you can see in the finishes.
- Leather on the foot side too: the lining is chrome-free tanned, comfortable against bare skin.
- A recycled rubber sole, lugged and slightly thick, that keeps your feet above hot tarmac.
Material & feel
Vegetable-tanned leather is tanned with plant extracts rather than chrome salts. It's firm at first, then moulds to the shape of your foot with wear. Over time, it develops a patina and takes on a richer look, especially in plain black.
When to wear it?
From May to September, as soon as your feet need air. In town, for days spent walking, and at weekends when a thin flat sandal just won't do.
Fit & size
The buckle strap adjusts at the ankle: you adjust the fit to your foot, and the sandal doesn't slap against your heel as you walk.
We strongly recommend you take one size down from your usual size. This piece runs large.
