Material & feel

Vegetable tanning means the leather is treated with tannins taken from plants rather than chromium salts. Firm for the first few days, it softens as you wear it and shapes itself to your waist. Over time it develops a patina: this belt gains character rather than looking old.

When to wear it?

For long days when you're constantly sitting, standing and bending: you can wear it from morning to night, and the leather adapts to your movements. A piece to keep for years, not a season.

Care guide

It's important to look after your leather so it lasts. Brush it regularly to remove everyday dirt.
If you have smooth leather shoes, you can polish the leather with a polish the same colour as the original leather or with a clear polish, then buff with a cloth.
For suede or nubuck shoes, you need to waterproof them to protect them from stains and moisture. Clean them with a soft brush and repeat the process at regular intervals.
