Good to know
- An upcycled velvet, cut from production offcuts, flawed fabrics or dead stock from other brands.
- A true devoré: you can feel the raised pattern under your fingers, with silver threads that sparkle at the slightest movement.
- Hand-sewn in Lyon, in the Emerjean social enterprise workshop.
Material & feel
In a devoré, the velvet pile only covers the pattern: it stands out in relief on a soft, fine cream jersey base. Under your fingers, you go from soft velvet to smooth knit. The trade-off: viscose and lurex. The viscose gives the velvet its silky sheen, the lurex the silver threads; in return, the scrunchie needs a little care around rings and nails.
When to wear it?
From autumn to winter, when velvet really comes into its own. On party nights, when the silver threads catch the light. Between hairstyles, keep it on your wrist like a bracelet.
Fit & size
The elastic is quite tight: two twists are enough for your hairstyle to hold all day.
