Ethical brand of upcycled accessories

Chou² is a Made In France brand that takes us into a colourful world where unused high-end fabrics from luxury houses bring the prettiest of accessories to life: scrunchies and bum bags.

This is the project of Victoria, a former WeDressFair team member, and we're more than a little proud of it. Her goal? To create a brand for the fashion of tomorrow, as cool as it is responsible, at a fair price.

Chou²'s environmental commitments

How can a brand limit its environmental impact? Chou² found an answer by using only low-impact raw materials, thanks to the upcycling of high-end fabrics. In practice, it collects roll ends and production offcuts from traditional fashion houses, such as silk from LVMH or velvet from Agnès B, to name just a few.

The result? Instead of producing new materials, existing ones are given new value!

The brand's ethical commitments

Beyond its environmental values, the brand is committed to supporting the local economy and helping women back into work. All Chou² accessories are made in France, in its 2 partner workshops in Lyon and Paris. These are social integration workshops, where around ten seamstresses work on the scrunchies and bum bags, and very soon the caps too.
